Gosh this is a real mess :toofunny: We were like 'yes drop the video after the AMA performance this will be perfect!!' .. nearly a month on and .. nothing. If she drops it now there's a danger it won't have an effect cos it's the holidays. But if she waits until after the 25th then it could be too late. Sigh. SO much potential with this song and I feel like with every day it's being wasted :(

I highly doubt Drunk in Love will fall out of the top 10

It's going to stabilize like the Monster

:applause:

Another collaboration hit it would be then. If it does enter the top 10 and stay there, it'll be the fifth single coming from a collaboration between a female pop star and a male act/s, excluding that X-Factor song. The more it's getting clear that collaborations are the hottest thing right now, the more I couldn't understand and accept why DWUW just couldn't get into the top 10 at this point.

I don't think performing the song again will boost sales. I read some comments on huffpost's the voice DWUW article and people were saying she should perform something else because she always does DWUW. Only the video will help, but if it comes out in January it will be too late I think.

What annoys me the most is that DWUW is completely past the "flop" level.

Yet not hitting top 10 will make everyone call it a flop....

Finally someone that agrees with me. Hallelujah.

Well you have to accept also the point of views of other people that don't think like you ;)

If the most of people want the video now, sure there is a good reason.

God you don't know what you're talking about. You are arguing every point just because you clearly don't like her. The song is doing well WW on iTunes for a song that hasn't even been properly released yet. The appeal is there, you just refuse to see it lol.

And I don't like Katy at all actually I'm just not blind to what the public obviously like.

I'm talking about my opinion, I think I know about that, at least a bit.

I had an opinion, I posted it, you responded, I didn't agree with your responses. Whether I am biased or not is irrelevant because the problems with the points you made would still exist regardless.

Anyway I am not biased, I never argued that Roar would flop because it was obviously going to be a hit. I thought uncle would be a bigger hit than it was but it turned out not to be.

I am not so sure about this obvious appeal and this obvious love the public has for this song. At least not anywhere other than the US and maybe Australia.

I really don't know how well this song will do and I am interested to find out.

Let me explain to you why the video being dropped next week is the perfect scenario:

-Potential sales: 200k (because Xmas week)

-With the video: 250k

-With the Rick Ross Remix: 300k

-Potential radio Al: 100m

-video streams

Total? 300k sales + 100m Al + a lot of streams = Guaranteed top 5/top 10 on Billboard.

300k is too much. I'd say 230k at most.

We NEED that video tho if we dont get in on monday i'm giving up on this song

My bf said Lady Gaga's commercial aired now in the Netherlands too!

Specially mailed it to my work, the doll.

Great! I already thought so since yesterday, now I've just gotta perch behind the pc. Wonder which celebrities they used!

Omg what if it airs multiple times during tVoH finale? :legend:

Welke zender zag hij het btw?
