Before i followed the charts i thought all lady gagas songs except for Alejandro reached #1, the delusion

I knew the debut sales of BTW single and I thought she could pull a 600k debut with just her name. I guess I was wrong :miley:

My country is also a bit behind at this matter. Eventhough I am not Gay myself I can see it very clearly. The Turkish enslavement has kept us a bit behind. And this is very ironic considering that ancient Greeks had open relationships with men and all that BC. :smh:

Sometimes this is why charts don't matter. Gaga is everywhere, most people don't follow the charts, so for them Gaga has huge hits all the time. In many places people know and have heard MTN and to them, while not on BR level, they must have thought it was a hit. Same with judas.

Many countries are still behind

In my country while there's no persecution per se, most gays even if they're flaming queens are in the closet. Sometimes it's funny seeing an obvious gay guy with lip gloss and major gay voice (stereotypical gay to be exact) talking about his ex girlfriends on TV :megaflop: legislation on civil unions is only being done now and thank god our current progressive government is giving the same rights as marriage including adoption for gay couples. Although the church and the opposition want to amend that :smh:

We'll get there someday :)

This is what I always said and people here always called me a delusional stan. :smh:

I am still seeing it as # 13

Is it really # 11 now???

Top ten here we come

it's still #13 (explicit) but DWUW has the explicit and clean version. combined, the song is actually #11

Back when I was new to GGD a and especially the charts thread they called me the same :toofunny:

To be honest peoples' perception matters more. If they remember every song she releases that can only cement her legendary status  of course it's better if most of her singles and albums smash :)

so its technically top 10 without that x factor performance that will tumble down?

People on forums and blogs think that the "internet" world represents the rest of the world and it does not, but you can't tell them that especially people on forums like ATRL.

Two Christmases ago my uncle who hates Gaga was talking about hearing MTN everyday on the radio. To him it was another Gaga hit like the norm of the day :smh:

I think that speaks for Gaga's power that even her lowest charting songs are known by most people.
