blahblahblahhhh

Why it's a mess? It's based on the sales, airplay and streaming tho.

Well, I don't know, it feels odd for Gaga to not be in top 20 at least.

But oh well.

I'm at Best Buy and ARTPOP is ****ing 17.99 :eww:

Who's gonna buy that when PRISM is 15.99 Deluxe and 13.99 standard :rip:

That's the weekly cost of my school lunch. Gaga wants me to starve ya'll. Someone call Perez. I have his next headline. :emma:

Mess at billboard placing "Applause" at #37 for the end-year chart.

Well if say for the year, 10 songs made it to #1 on the weekly charts, 10 made it to #2, 10 made it to #3 and 10 made it to #4 then a year end position of #37 would suggest it is in the 'made it to #4' band, and indeed Applause did make it #4 on the Hot 100.  No mess at all.

Honestly, 18 dollars isn't even that much. I paid 20 euro (28 dollars) for ARTPOP.

It's a lot when the album right next to it is 13.99 and they're only 2 copies left of that album.

I have a new ultimate goal for Gaga. I'd like to see her try and get each of her singles get into the year-end Top 40.

Poker Face                   #2            2009

Just Dance                   #3            2009

Bad Romance              #8            2010

Telephone                    #16          2010

Born This Way             #18          2011

The Edge of Glory       #29          2011

LoveGame                  #33           2009

Alejandro                     #33          2010

Applause                     #37          2013

It's a pretty good indication of what singles people remember. Getting a weekly top 40 isn't anything, but to finish in the Top 40 for the year is great. To those worried about the Applause position, it was only eligible for 3 months whereas tracks like Born This Way had 11 to chart and grow.

Paparazzi is the only one that doesn't appear when it really should. Based on it's time of release (late in the year) it charted in the 50's and 60's for both '09 and '10. Had it been released earlier, it'd be 30's for '09 imo.

Next year I'd like to see Sexxx Dreams, Gypsy and Do What U Want there. Those are the ARTPOP tracks that really deserve to be remembered.

Btw was only #18? :messga: but it was #1 for 6 weeks.

A lot of the chart would depend on longevity out of or in the back end of the Top 10, I'd say. That's when some tracks will get ahead. BTW fell pretty quickly after it's original success.
