Whispering 18,865
Same thing could be said towards CRJ a year ago. Well, technically, she's not a one hit wonder but more of a fad. Aside from Adele, I haven't yet seen someone whose careers have really flew off since 2011 in the same on how the pop stars who started in the late 2000s (Rihanna, Katy, Gaga, Bieber) sustained their success and became household names. I do hope Lorde is the one I've been waiting for. But only time would tell. Who knows? There might be just another "new act" next year who'll take the world by storm with that one breakthrough hit. I think the more the public sees her perform, the more unlikely it will be for her to become another Adele, Rihanna, Beyonce, Gaga, Swift, etc. Her songs will continue to do well, at least this era, but people aren't going to be fascinated with her persona like they are with the other artists listed above. My friends who were all "I loooove Lorde" were like "WTF was that?" after her Grammy nomination concert performance. She was dressed in an outfit that looked like a restaurant server and her make up made her look like a 40 year old woman. She sounded good, but her presentation and stage presence needs a lot of work. That alone could keep her from making it to the next level.

Griffin 6
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-D40XphPFaY Do What U Want is the biggest Gaga club song since Born This Way. It'll get there. I'm positive. It's crossover Urban/R&B appeal gives it tonnes of spins here in Australia because it's not overly indulgent Gaga pop. It's peak so far here is #5. Arturo 40,746
How do we know that both versions combined put DWUW at #11 though? You just take away the X factor songs and add the % from the second version.
