I don't like it as a whole album tho... I mean who will buy 400k copies of an Album and then selling it for a hot price, so they can promote their product ... This only shows what kinda Insane demand there was for Born This Way and Gaga in 2011 .. I know I was just saying Gaga would probably be in the same position sales and profit wise today without the deal It did her good but it also caused her and interscope some problems. Next week, there will be even more temporary songs, with the finals of The Voice and X Factor and all the performances from guests artists on these shows. The Amazon deal lost Gaga sales that she would have gotten through other retailers, It also pushed her week one sales up allot so more physical copies were ordered than was needed. This lead to her getting on the wrong side of retailers and many returned their excess copies of BTW to interscope. if there had been no amazon sale this wouldn't have happened. The retailers likely sent back around the same amount of copies that the Amazon deal inflated sales by. It evened things out, so I doubt it had any negative impact on sales. You get a video with every song and the GP loves to look at Beyonce. It's an Urban type, non-polarizing album with some great collaborations.
