I think that DWUW proves that it is a powerful single because it is very stable without much back up from radio ( I am sure it will come eventually) or any promo.. So I think people want to listen to it

ARTPOP's sales aren't bad at all.

Can someone please explain why the single sales were so low the previous week? 68,000 copies for No.10 and 193,000 for No.1 is very strange to see. Is it post black Friday or what?

They're always bad during the last quarter of the year, but I'm sure this is a new low

This happens every year. People are too broke spending money on Christmas gifts and people don't exactly buy singles for gifts. Albums, on the other hand, make great gifts.

It's not really. WFL was #1 on iTunes and only selling 150K.

December always has bad sales but this is worse than normal. The lowest sales for a top 10 last December was 1D at 91k.
