It's very different from what you're trying to point out. In Europe The Born This Way Ball had nothing to do with The Fame/The Fame Monster momentum: the shows took place from August 2012, more than a year after she had enjoyed her last solid hit in Europe, which was The Edge of Glory. Gaga was indeed riding on The Fame/The Fame Monster momentum but no longer than until the release of Born This Way, and it's clearly seen in Born This Way sales dynamics: she sold 1,540,000 copies from May, 23 to July, 1 2011, and only 561,000 copies from July, 1 2011 to January, 1 2012. The album wasn't selling very well throughout the second half of 2011, because Gaga's The Fame (Monster) momentum was blown away by the amazing discovery of Adele to the general public. The "TFM momentum" only contributed to the high opening week (month) numbers.
