Whispering

Dark Horse will probably be in the top 3 songs on Billboard's year-end chart.

We've got a long way to go. Every year, it's the surprise songs that come along and sell 6 million+. Like Rolling in the Deep (two years ago) with 8 million, or Somebody That I Used to Know, Call Me Maybe and Thrift Shop with 7.3-7.5 million, or even We Are Young, Blurred Lines and Radioactive with 6-6.8 million.

Who saw those songs coming from those artists? It's always those types of songs that blow the lid off of everything- the ones you don't see coming.

Which is also why Gaga won't ever have a single like JD/PF

she just change her stage name like Bowie did. That way no one will have any preconceived notions about her or her music. and then drop something really amazing all randomly and bam. Poker Face coming for your wig type of a hit.

Changing her name could be good in the US/Europe, but 'Gaga' is so iconic

I agree, but songs that are hits early on in the year are more likely to be near the top of the list.

You mean have another one? Because those two Gaga singles were just like the ones I listed- they came out of nowhere, from a new artist with a unique sound.
