One of the many reasons why DWUW is my absolute favourite and gained Gaga some attention from other kind of public also is the fact that it's different, it's not typical Gaga, it's something new and fresh from her. Kill me people and call me not a true fan, but Venus-type of songs are the most typical Gaga songs for me and nothing new, exciting, shocking or risky. Gaga's success allowed dance music a place on North American radio. I really want her to continue with it, if at all possible. Beyonce keeps doing her R&B thing and gets praised, nobody pressures her to do dance or rock for a change. And we're had 10x more songs like DWUW than Applause on US radio in the last two decades. If you all requested DWUW instead of whatever you want as 3rd single the pop updates would be much better now... Not true. It actually had better support from radio that it truly deserves. I for one think Venus is more catchy, it's basically a matter of opinion and taste, something we all have. I never compare songs, especially Gaga's because most are so different, all I am saying is give all songs a fair chance, Gypsy might fail to sell just as much as Venus or smash for that matter ... And yes Venus might not slay like I am hoping but it could also smash, we never know ... The GP can be very predictable and unpredictable at the same time ... Whatever Gaga chooses I will be fine with, I am just hoping for Venus ... PS.
