Different performances can appeal to different kinds or audience which makes it attractive. Venus is not so versatile imo. Yes I agree, but i think Gaga should take a risk because the safe way does only work for artists like Katy and Rihanna. But yeah Gypsy is easy because it needs close to 0 rehearsal, she just needs to hit the right chords and sing the right notes and her album, tour, single and fanbase will get a huge boost. Promoting in Europe is so easy in my opinion, everything is so close. She could just go from Paris to Madrid to Hilversum to Berlin to Zürich to Brussels in one week and it wouldn't even cost much money unless she wants to bring her own piano or wants a special piano and dress for every performance and appearance like usual :megaflop: Before there was love, there was silence Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

No escaping from it, it's like not wanting The Edge of Glory as a single on Born This Way or Paparazzi on The Fame. It's so obvious that it has to be a single at some point, and the best part of the year for ballads is in Q1. Agreed. Gypsy has to be the third single, given the warm reception it got when it was digitally released. It's also a great tool to move albums in the first quarter. Radio friendly isn't what the GP and her fans are expecting from her and how much I love DWUW and how much I would love it to smash, if we look at the facts it isn't happening. The Video will give it the same effect as the AMA's and The Voice. It will go up to #11 and than start decreasing again. I more and more think she should release Venus as the 3rd single, Gypsy can be 4th :) MTE !!! Gypsy will flop just like MTN. Applause was barely promoted, we got like 2 performances in the first 3 months of Applause? Charity sales tho 3FM is hosting a charity event right now as far as I know, where all donations go to charity and you can also request a song while donating :megaflop: Guys, taking risks so early in the era is as risky as it can get. And Venus is a song that wouldn't do well on AC radio and would do meh on HAC radio, so an October release - when all songs have low airplay on AC/HAC anyways - is better for Venus.
