That's going to be the third single I hope and then Sexxx Dreams can be the furth single so it can slay during the summer.

I do believe Venus is gonna be 3rd but sadly I think that one will tank.

I'm somewhat the equivalent of the soccer mom and Venus is too big of a gamble and let me explain why (these are my speculations only and I'm happy to be proven wrong btw).

DWUW was a neutral song, yes it had controversy about the collab with R Kelly but mostly it was a radio friendly song just nothing with a WOW factor. That song has gained her some potential audience based on the non offensive, not so "in your face" bold lyrics as she had before. I know she did pull those off before but that was when that sound was fresh and she was fresh and she was on her peak and could get away with almost anything.

That neutral audience, let's call them GP, are not gonna be here for Venus, it's odd, the double chorus is confusing and not strong enough to be considered a hook.

Gypsy might be somewhat generic but it's a positive long song people like, especially in the summer.

Your combo would be best, the neutral audience interested since DWUW would be even more positive about Gaga with yet another non offensive song like Gypsy that Sexxx Dreams could become a hit. But Venus and then Gypsy is a bad move and won't let Gypsy have it's full potential.

Where the **** is the third single? I don't even care what it is, as long as it's not dope/mjh/fashion.

I would accept venus/Sexxx dreams/gypsy/guy. Venus is my clear favorite though.

I don't see what's crazy about Venus, it's just fun weird and not weird like judas or MTN. I even sang it at karaoke along with gypsy and Sexxx dreams, and the older crowd thought it was funny and the only song I noticed people kinda enjoyed (even though no one knew any of them).

There's too much potential in Venus to give up.

I think Venus or maybe ARTPOP should be the fifth and last single.

I don't think she should do 5th single at all.

Because you fear the third and fourth single won't do good?

I'm here for 5 singles tbh and I wouldn't say no to 6 either. If she releases 4 singles she won't have a single after summer, which I don't find wise.

I agree especially with the part about Gaga having outrageous lyrics at her peak. She could do that then and people loved it, because people loved her and she could get away with anything in 2009/2010. Now, her situation is much different. People expect her to do something weird now, whether it's her clothing or music. If Gaga wears a pair of jeans the media says nothing about it but if she wears something totally out of this world, they talk about her in a negative light. I have actually seen them praise her, when she dresses in regular clothing. The surprise factor is gone. Gaga releasing Venus, wouldn't be a surprise or risk, because actually it's what people expect from here anyway, which isn't that great in her case.

I think Gypsy will do good, it's her most generic song left and let's be honest...look on the charts the most generic ones have the highest chance of succeeding. Venus 3rd or 4th would not matter so much, the song doesn't change if you see what I mean.

But then we're in May when Gaga starts to tour. With no really friendly and attractive songs that stand out on their own like for example DH, she'd have to spent a lot of time doing promo, time that she doesn't have while on tour.

Exactly, before it was like "sh!t man, you know what Gaga did last night?!"  She's so strange!

And it had people talking.

Now they KNOW it's gonna be something strange because you know, it's Gaga  :ohwell:

And people almost treat her as she's a caricature of herself.

Then she might as well just release gypsy, fashion and dope as singles cuz those are the most radio friendly. They can be as iconic as her previous "safe" songs like DWUW and you and I
