But in all honesty, we have 1 MV out now since Aug. That's 5 months. We have 1 song that has been out since what, October and still getting postive updates without ANY promo for a month now, no MV, nothing. Most people are simpletons, they need to reminded to buy stuff, almost through it into their faces. Katy has a well oiled propaganda machine, 3 singles, 2 music videos, 1 music video with her boyfriend. Miley has all the exposure too. And yet we sold what 600.000 copies based on 2 months of promotion of a few songs and last month on thin air. Let's see how it does once she's back in the saddle shall we? If she keeps silent, not doing any promo, not releasing videos, many fans will lose interest I think. And without us, what would she do? In BTW era she suffered from media backlash and the GP got tired of her, but at least she was doing everything for the fans, that kept supporting her no matter what. Now she's just... hiding somewhere, idk. I really hope she's okay. EDIT: I'm not talking about sales or charts, I'm talking about... joy, excitement, videos, visuals, outfits and everything else. The music is still good, what she needs is the stellar singles to connect with the GP. When did she ever plan everything in advance? The GP thinks the album is a complete flop and therefore doesn't want to buy it. If the media hadn't called out her first week sales describing them as disappointing along with the later sales the public who doesn't know as much about the charts as fans would think the album is hip and would be willing to check it out. That's what happened with The Fame and The Fame Monster, Gaga even if she wasn't always smashing like with LoveGame in the UK, and Alejandro in the US, was seen as a dominating force.
