Freddy 4,421 Posted January 15, 2014 Share Posted January 15, 2014 -DWUW almost getting a negative update + about to leave the top 40 on Itunes -The second single's video will be there at least 5 months after the first single video -ARTPOP selling less than 10k and being #81 on Itunes -Gaga being possibly back in the studio (last time she did that after Applause it lasted 5 weeks) -The last promo performance for ARTPOP was a month ago (and since then it's been dead silent) it's a dark time *Hopefully DWUW can reach 100m... that would be the only good thing in the year so far. He may have done a few great songs with her on the last two albums, but the more she worked with him and went away from other producers, the more it's gone downhill commercially. Luc 4,775 Posted January 15, 2014 Share Posted January 15, 2014 So Katy Perry sold 22,760, yet her singles are selling: 236k+159k+80k = 475k That's a 1:21 album:single sales rate, which is terrible she needs smash hits to sell. Meanwhile, Gaga sold 9,420, and her singles: 107k+73k = 180k And that's a 1:19 rate. Which is bad too. I guess album sales are just TERRIBLE in general?
