Stefani328 321 Posted January 9, 2014 Share Posted January 9, 2014 Well congrats to Katy. I'm not mad at ha but the bad part about this is all the negativity it's bringing onto Gaga. It's just kinda unbearable right now. I mean I personally am here for the music but everytime Katy succeeds over Gaga it seems the hatred towards Gaga gets larger and larger. :/ I can't believe we're in this place right now! And I also can't believe Venus will be the third single over Gypsy. Surely the era will have at least 4 singles so why not save Venus for fourth? It seems Gypsy has the biggest hit potential as of now and we really need to get some type of momentum going. If Venus underperforms it will hinder the possible success of future singles and cause the album to drop off the charts. I can only imagine the draggings then. Oh good lord...I need something good to happen for our Gaga. Agree. Plus people can't seem to make a post about Gaga without saying but Katy... at the end. Plus, if the third single flops who's really going to be looking for the fourth single? By, then people have moved on from the album because momentum is loss. Basically lol and that would be the worst possible ending for the album. The album can't be done that soon I mean Gaga hasn't even started her tour yet. I'm really hoping there will be a last minute change up for Gypsy but it seems there's little to no chance of it happening at this point ugh. Gypsy would also be a song that would keep selling the album too imo which makes it the best single choice is more than 1 way! I just need to see Gaga having a top 10 again. That's why they have to pick her third single EXTREMELY carefully and really think through which song has the most potential not which song Gaga herself loves the most, which is also important, of course, but it definitely shouldn't be the main factor in choosing this single. I don't want this era to end as quickly as the BTW. I just can't watch another Gaga era end so quickly because of poor management and single choices. As we can see from other artists that are selling extremely well, they have promo and at least a song in the Top 10. A successful or moderate hit will sell albums.
