Luc 4,775
She can milk Japan way may than she did last time. There's definitely demand in Asia. She will still tour Oceania. It won't be as huge as BTWB, but she can still sell out several dates. The only part I agree with you is Latin America. Artists take long periods of time between their visits of Latin America. She can't milk Asia. You must know that BTW was promoted in Singapore, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, she just had smash hits BTW, TeoG, (Bloody Mary in Taiwan), Telephone in 2 years span, it was very hyped and BTW did about 4x better in East-Asia than ARTPOP so far. Katy's singles have overshadowed Gaga's in all East-Asian countries besides Japan and Unconditionally is already a 10x bigger hit than DWUW in all countries besides South Korea. There's no way Gaga can tour stadiums there without a smash hit this era.See Madonna to support this. GMAYL is a bigger hit than Applause here, don't know about other European contries. Luc 4,775
Wut? Gaga is slaying here Dont talk nonsense. 4 #1 albums, The Fame is 7x Platinium, ARTPOP is close to 1x Platinium. 13 out of 14 singles went Top 10 (9 of them Top5 4 #1) BTW is close to 2x Platinium. Should I continue? ARTPOP is #53 on the official charts down from #50 :awkney:
Mills 446
Why do we all want Gaga perform the third single at the Grammys so badly? I thought DWUW is still moving up on radio & is stable on Billboard. Despite what iTunes is currantly saying, I definately think the song still has potential to move up some more (that is if we get the video (which I'm still optimistic about). Among all the televised programming, the GRAMMYs delivers the biggest sales boost for almost all who either performed or won. For instance, Adele sold more than 800K each both for her singles combined and for her album, if I remember it correctly. That's massive, well actually too massive for it not to be ignored. Last year, Rihanna performed Stay. And now, that single is moving towards the 4 million mark in digital sales. Everyone would surely want a piece of that sales booster from the GRAMMYs. Who doesn't? As for whether or not the third single would be more opportune to be performed at the GRAMMYs or not, I'd say yes. DWUW was performed countless times already. And it barely entered the top 5 on iTunes, let alone top 10. I wouldn't want the same thing to happen if ever she's going to the GRAMMYs, considering a song like Gypsy could likely benefit much better from such exposure. But then again, all of these aren't set in stone since it's still unconfirmed whether she'd actually go or not.
ArtGagaPop 61,940
She should release the video this monday then see if people are actually here for the song still. If the video get's good views, the song get a digital boost and still gains on radio she should peform it on the grammys for a last push before moving on to the next single. Adele's situation is an exception. Besides performing she won all the major awards she was nominated for thus she was on stage for the entire evening. Also the Grammys of 2012 averaged 40 million viewers, the second highest viewership ever, due to the fact that Whitney Houston had just died and they did a tribute for her. That 14 million viewer increase versus the 2011 telecast had a lot to do with Adele's massive sales the next week on billboard Also, Stay wouldn't be near those numbers if it wasn't for Rihanna's radio power. The Grammy's just helped the song get recognized by the gp which DWUW has already achieved with its numerous performances and its 70M audience on radio. don't follow my instagram (trying out reverse psychology)

Are you implying that the sales boost from the GRAMMYs isn't that prominent, compared to all the other televised awards shows or broadcast for that matter?
