At this point, aside from the video release, being put on PR is about the best promo we can get. It would be such perfect timing if they finally put DWUW on PR this week after that performance. It's a shame that the gap between it and Wake Me Up is still so large on iTunes. I'll be doing serious cartwheels once I see it rise to #14.

It's looking that way. Already 5 plays today.

Oops, I didn't want to quote yoy, sorry!

Madonna never had a competition with another pop Singer, she was much greater than the others

Madonna was overshadowed most of the times on her later years though by Whitney, Mariah, Celine Dion, Janet Jackson etc. We have the feeling that because Madonna is the queen of Pop that she was always the first but the truth is that Madonna has struggled a million times in her career. Her power to reinvent herself has made her today the Queen of Pop.

What bothers me the most is how Katy can have a flop but Gaga can't. The media just loves to target Gaga and I can't stand it.

Yeah exactly!!  :toofunny: Like for example, Judas peaked higher than Unconditionally on Billboard Hot 100 (and keep in mind at that time streaming didn't count) and in the media's eyes that was flop and they bashed gaga for it but whereas with unconditionally, i've yet to seen an article pointing out that it flopped  :manicure: im really happy for katy and her success but i hate these double standards that they hold to gaga.

Yeah, I mean Madonna was still there throughout the 90's, but really was 2nd fiddle between Like A Prayer and Ray of Light. It wasn't until Ray of Light that she became the it girl again and she rode that momentum until the release of American Life in 2003 with two huge albums with ROL and Music.
