Stefani 25 Posted December 15, 2013 Share Posted December 15, 2013 i really don't think controversy is gonna work for gaga anymore cuz everyone knows gaga = controversy so it ain't a shock or surprise anymore. In fact people are annoyed and turned off by it. I think at this point in gaga's career, all gaga has to do is go out there and sing with her best vocals. People won't even care if she just sits on a chair and sings like adele, if her vocals are out-of-this-world that would do the most to push ARTPOP's sales and DWUW high up on the charts. It's pretty much the only song where making it more commercial/pop didn't get in the way of Gaga's vision: The song is about the girl who lives behind the aura - behind the make up, photoshop, crazy clothes, wigs, vocal effects, etc. That's why the song sounds very.. raw compared to the leak we had at first. the intro is cringe worthy tho .... she sounds so low budget there + the verses are really more calm now than the demo and she described it as rage and electronic explosion I think that the demo had that in it (the verses) It's much more fun to have hizophrenia... u never get lonely Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Tbh I think if she hadn't performed venus on Xfactor and had been a little more calm with the DWUW performance she could have done 100k first week and the song would have charted higher.
