For the rest I already said what I think about the concept and I'm kind of agree for some points... But it's interesting how now all the tracks are not good, and when they came out everybody were screaming like bottoms 'I love Donatella', 'Perfect', 'Goddess', 'Venus best track evah'... I am speaking in general now ;) I know, I was one of those people that were screaming how good Donatella and Fashion! are .. that's why I said that right now I am not rushing to say BEYONCE is the best album this year ... When I listened to Born This Way at the first time I didn't get most of the songs and I was just listening to BTW, Judas, You and I, TEOG and Marry The Night over and over again because the other songs were so weird and different, but with TIME I started falling in love in every song Individually, BTW grew so much to me .. I love every single song .. the only song I still can't get is Black Jesus, but at least the Instrumental is amazing ... I Love Bad Kids, I love Fashion Of His Love, I think The Queen is one of Gaga's greatest songs ever ... It's ok if you love ARTPOP the most It's great album, but the fans most at the time, love everything that their fave put out.. and It's a fact that ARTPOP Image and Music is not as good as it should be, and It's not even on Gaga's standarts ... I am sure that Act 2 will be better (unless she just put on the Act2 the songs she already have made during these messy times with Troy etc..) Not even possible. Born This Way as a whole have this 70s feeling which makes it more cohesive even tho It's messy and a lot of critics have praised BTW's messines, while ARTPOP is messy in another way.. It's not that tolerable ... Believe me before ARTPOP I though that BTW will always be my favorite Lady Gaga album. Guess I was wrong. Mariano 958 Posted December 15, 2013 Share Posted December 15, 2013 Im sure that through the songs she was hyping about from 2012 there wasn't Donatella where the instrumental was bought or J&D because it was clear that those songs were put for commercial aspects and if from all the 70 songs she made those made the cut as 'the best' then I will have doubts about Gaga ... but they aren't the best they are jsut the most commercial ones she already said that Onion Girl is her fav Zedd collab, but wait Gaga WHERE IS THAT SONG ? It is a great pop album that the critics bashed because first of all they hated with capital HATED the usage of ART in the title and the lyrics are horrible indeed. It's not that tolerable ... I really can't experience that feeling, as hard as I'm trying. Plus, the lyrics are cringeworthy and I think it's heavily overproduced, some songs sound like a trashcar exploding. Therefore, ARTPOP is an improvement for me. On the other side, I just had to listen to "Haunted" one single time and was completely slayed. Never happened with any ARTPOP song. And she set her own standards really high with her own amazing work .. Now let's get back on Topic: Cant wait for the video and The Voice ... Still more commercial doesn't mean always bad. Thriller is much more commercial than some of MJ's later albums and its considered his best(eventhough I think that he has much better albums).
