But it's another thing by downright bashing Gaga. What I meant to say is that, there's a certain group of trolls who happen to be Beyonce fans, who keep knocking Gaga and her direction of ARTPOP, and they make thread after thread about it. I love B but Gaga pulled off what she was trying to do allot better than B did. VforVendetta 2,024 Posted December 15, 2013 Share Posted December 15, 2013 no we can't , they are ot directors ... and they suck at Editing (which is really hard) That's why most of Gaga's latest videos are messy .. the Editing and Directing is the problem, not Gaga's Concept .. Terry showed us that he can make a really good video (Wrecking Ball) You can hate Miley, You can hate her nakedness but Wrecking Ball is Simple yet effective, the shoot is done really professionaly, especially when Miley is on the Wrecking Ball I find the editting om Applause video very proffesional though Bad Romance still remains the video (in my opinion) With the best Directing, Editing and ESPECIALLY Cinematography (although It lost against ESOM by Jay and Alicia ) This Image is the best shot I have ever seen from a music Video.. Find a better one if you can .. Another great examples of Cinematography in BR: There is just nothing like BR greatness ... Glow 0 Posted December 15, 2013 Share Posted December 15, 2013 I can agree with that, but a lot of people that make a thread about it are still Gaga's fans, there is nothing wrong to not agree with Gaga and to notice when she makes mistakes etc.. Why not create the thread in an open, positive manner then? In all of these threads, it's usually either been a gif of Beyonce after the extremely short, and rude text, or as replies to people who disagree with them. Or both. MikeyMoonShine 0 Posted December 15, 2013 Share Posted December 15, 2013 I am not dragging Gaga for that, it's difficult to explain my point of view in this argument with english words, I'll try to be short, for me it's more important the quality of the music respect the concept of an album, it doesn't matter, if it's visual, artistic or about s-x. I only said that maybe this 'Art' concept of Gaga isn't arrived to the GP, but for sure the quality of music in my opinion (nothing is objective when we talk about music) is superior to Beyoncè and others female recent pop albums ;) Well yeah that's why I still love Beyonce's album. The quality is amazing and some of the songs do translate what she was trying to say well but others just completely fail and show that she lacks understanding of what she is talking about. ARTPOP has similar problems but in the end we don't judge albums on that we judge them on quality. The thing is the GP is always gonna like s-xy feminism more than High art and weirdness so B gets more success and acclaim despite the fact that gaga arguably pulled off her vision more successfully. At least Gaga in ARTPOP for the kind of music in some tracks she did sperimental things like Aura, she did something different in the production for some songs, not things that you can find in latest Ciara album. And that's where Troy should have backed her more. It's was clearly that Interscope wanted more mainstream sound for the album and a lot of 'experimental' songs were left, Troy as her manager should have stand by her not the other way and forced her to be more pop, he just simply had to believed in her. ARTPOP as idea is great but as presentation to the GP is disaster. Even if she won the GP back this era, still the critics and a lot people bash her for her so called 'ego' and compare her to Kanye West because they only see her talking about that so called 'artistic experience etc' but don't see it. I mean if you bash Gaga using Bey, then ok you are right, but stop generalizing .. Some people have point and some don't .. What annoys me is the countless Beyonce threads, and countless replies. It's just beyond(ce ) annoying when every thread I go into except for this one I see tens of replies with just a Beyonce .gif or the word 'Beyonce' and people who always are like "yeah i dont care about the charts" and now are making tens of statuses about how well Beyonce is doing Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

She is very talented but the problem is that she is doing more commercials than songs. She just bought the instrumental for Aura tho ARTPOP is messy and yeah as a whole It's not that good album ... and The Critics won't just bash the album so much just because of Gaga, after giving her other albums 70+ ... I guess they really didn't like the music .. And how is Gaga showing her vision clearly in ARTPOP ? What is J&D about and the most important thing how It even fits in the whole ARTPOP theme ? What about Donatella ? ( i love it but still..) Venus is great but the lyrics have 0 meaning... There should've been more songs like ARTPOP on the album ( And I am sure that at first It was supposed to be like that, until Troy started messing Gaga's plans) I am gonna repeat this again - Gaga said that the songs are longer just 2 months before the album release and that are not made for radio .. then suddenly all of the tracks are less than 4 minutes .. This alone shows that there were major changes in Gaga's creative plans shortly before the album release ... And another thing for Gaga and Troy to split (probably the most successful collab between Artist and Manager for the last 5-10 years .. or maybe we can add Justin Bieber and his manager also, but still) there happened something really big between them ....
