It doesn't matter actually who brought the views. Since the song is getting the popularity it deserves the streaming it gets on the charts.

So you like the song and want it to be popular? What does that have to do with anything. The music business is a business after all and not a popularity contest so who brought the views should be at least a bit important I think.

If you wanna see real longevity look at WMU lol.. It was released before Roar and it is above it on BB 16 weeks later...

This now Is better Indicator of longevity than comparing Applause to Roar :rip:  WMU Is definitely top 3 best songs of the year ... I LOVE IT so much !!!  Hey Brother coming to slay next year :excited2:

Well the first one to go viral was Telephone, that one made his channel famous but it seems to have been taken down so I have no idea how many views he had. then there was call me maybe ofc.

This one of course has a much higher production value and is far more controversial because of how controversial the original video is. He is allot more famous now than he was when he made the earlier vids so his views are gonna go up. It does not necessarily have all that much to do with cyrus.

I'm not saying it has nothing to do with her and I don't have a problem with this but I can see the arguments against it.

I know what you mean, because most of his video have a lot of views, but 60M In 1 week, even Gaga can't do that with all her star power and WW popularity and Fanbase ... think of It ...

But the product is what matters, not the producer. I see your point now though...

No It's not..   WMU Is EDM song with FOLK Influences,  Hey Brother Is a bit similar yes, but It's still a lot different and we can say the same thing about Lorde's TEAM ...  These artists did their own music by themselves, and they have a certain style there Is nothing wrong with that ...  You shouldn't mistaken  genericness aka  Roar - Brave with a certain Style aka Lorde's new album and Avicii's new album ...

Gypsy Life

The Xtina fans will be a laughing stock once her next lead single drops.

Let's see if she can save her career like she's "saving Pitbull's and A Great Big World's careers"
