It's amazing and really moving to see her transition from this really quiet and awkward girl in interviews, to this amazingly energetic one onstage. I'm pretty sure she's still the same person but her image and sometimes behaviour has changed. The performance above is so spontaneous, fun and sincere. Lately, she's got better at singing maybe, but she seems to focus too much on having technique and not enough in showing any emotion. Not only by singing but also by the lack of energy. I get her new songs are less upbeat, but still. Also, why not show them legs and bring the bangs back? She looks so much better. I miss the old Florence, and I'm so sad I didn't get to see her live when she was on the Lungs tour. It doesn't work for her new songs. It also doesn't work for TV shows like SNL, The View, X Factor, etc. But I agree on the bangs. She still does the same spontaneous thing when she performs Dog Days Are Over though. A different era, so I guess she's changed. It would be incredibly boring if she performed the same every time. This era has been more classy and elegant. Like a Queen - very Victorian. 'Ceremonials' is a humble celebration of her success, imo. That said, I do miss the old Flo. I regret not seeing her on tour. But, I will in May. Not a big fan of Spectrum but it's amazing live. It was the first song I really liked in Ceremonials before it really grew on me. This album is just flawless. Could have it been nominated for the grammys? Was it released in time to be nominated? If it was, **** off grammys By the way, Florence has to come back to Spain. She can sound a big goatish at times, but more often than not she's wonderfully flawless in her performances. Ceremonials is simply spectacular. It's probably my least favorite from the album. Idk I just don't like the chorus + I don't think it's nearly as amazing as everyone else says. Plus I hope the bangs will be coming back. She's looking SO much older lately. I always used to defend her when people said she looked like she was 40. Because she usually didn't always. But lately she's been looking much older.
