Where are we right now?  We are on the internet!  And what have I been doing for four years? Kicking haters and disrespectful people off this site.  It's not impossible to create safe and fun environments on the internet.   :)

 

Well of course not because its GAGAdaily but shes not only referring to this site shes referring to the hatred that twitter monsters are spreading in which she can't control because twitter is a site where people have many different opinions. Like I said in my previous post if you read clearly: I respect her commitment to this and it will no doubt convince some fans to think before they post but no matter what there will always be bad apples in every fan base.

And what Twitter meltdowns are you guys referring to? Her posting that she was upset that the media was dragging her? How is that untrue or disrespectful?

All of this is so depressing. It reminds me of the quote of Gaga in Elle recently:

Everyone is so cynical  that I can't purely love my fans, or share an honest story about my past, without someone asking me if I really, truly struggled," Gaga said. "Do you know how much dirt I ate? Do you know the men I had to crawl through, the people that disrespected my body, my mind, my heart?"

How terrible is it that she feels that way about US. I don't want these people ruining it for everybody. There are too many sincere, kind fans that deserve her full love, but we are all wolves in sheep's clothing to her. It cannot be distinguished: who is true, and who is negative, trollish, hateful flop fan.

Good Monsters unite. Spread positivity. Call out negativity. And always T.H.I.N.K. first!

What about your Twitter meltdowns Gaga? Did you ask yourself those questions? Or do they only apply to other people?

She's not perfect, no one is, but she is not spreading hate every single second of the day and hating over everyone that hates on her like some fans do. At least she is doing the best she can, she can;t control her fans but I'm so proud that she keeps speaking up, it shows shes not ignoring it and hopefully fans will start to see that it;s not something Gaga supports and some, maybe not all may change the way they conduct themselves on the internet.

Part of me wants to ban all the mean people from this site, even if that cut our user base in half.  

 

It would be a happier site with more sharing and communication and love.  People would feel free to post their ideas and feelings without fear of being dragged because whatever they said wasn't cool.

 

But another part of me wants to keep the mean people here so that we can reach them and help them, and maybe then they'll think twice before blasting someone on Twitter.

 

I'm just trying to change the world, one mean person at a time.  ;)

After reading some of your post I am shocked! How could some of guys take offense to this and say she is not your mother, she is not perfect, so she should stop this powerful message she is trying to convey. Yes she has lashed out and made some mistakes before, does that not make it okay for her to try and speak out and still spread compassion. No she will not change the way most people behave on the internet, but is that reason enough for her not to try to change it one small step at a time. No she is not our mother, but to me, and I know to most of you, she is my idol. An idol to me is someone I look up to. Someone who is full of love and kindness and tries her (or his) f***ing best to spread that message in their work. To entertain me while still making me proud to say I love everything about this b---h!   

 

I know I'm going on a rant here but I am very sadden by some of your comments. I don't post much on here but I LOVE visiting this website and reading all of your funny, adorable, comments with your amazing gifs and sharing my love for this women with other people. I know what you're saying. Like any project, you can only be happy with your best job, even if it doesn't meet your ambitions. Taking away the voices of people who disagree with you or make you feel bad is a rabbit hole that ends in tyranny. 

 

When your project involves the voices of other people, it's just a matter of adjusting the line of what you have control over.
