This is true.

But Venus isnt holiday fitting either.

Telling kids to get sleazy seemed really appropriate too and not wearing pants for MANiCURE? lol

Well, quite true... but Venus was the official 2nd single back then, she couldn't possibly avoid that one, that's why the song even has a place of choice on the programme. On the other hand, she had strictly no reason or obligation to perform DWUW back then

I guess my point was mainly that people here should focus on what we get, rather than what we don't get... We've got sooo many great performances tonight to enjoy! The only reason why people are whining is because it was a missed chance to promote DWUW, but who cares? I thought the music was more important than the charts ;)

From a holiday standard in a ball gown to an aggressive rock song in a plaid shirt, her range was on full display tonight. The whole thing wasn't strung together as cohesively as her first special, but that is just nit picking. Over all it was fantastic. The Muppets were always a little subversive, so they meshed pretty well with Gaga's esthetic. And she really picked the perfect artists to duet with.

There were kids all over America who just saw their first drag queen.

So awesome.

why are people freaking out :fail:

It had to be "soft" because the muppets were involved and it's basic cable. I loved it more than the 2011 special, it was quirky and cute.

NOT TO MENTION ARTPOP AND GYPSY I WAS IN THE FETAL POSITION SCREAMING

ARTPOP was everything. :rip:

Elton John, Gaga and RuPaul on a childs show is a huge step towards acceptance, glad ABC stood by it

It's not a children's show IMHO... these are The Muppet Show muppets, not Sesame Street muppets. The Muppet Show was a prime-time show that always aimed at a general audience. Edited by Nemo
