Thanx this is the one I have, the lens is standard though. Worst case do u think I can check it in with my bag? and do they have a good check in for your stuff there?

That's a pretty big lens to be honest.. They might give u a hard time.. Staff and security was NOT nice at all.. They do have check in though

So people were lined up in the Little Monsters Zone line way before Roseland opened right?

 

So you all had to get out of line to get your tickets right?

LMZ line started early but mainly cuz today was her birthday, and the first show. It was extra crazy. I had my tickets mailed to my house so I didn't have to do will call. But if you do need to do will call, they are open right away when you get there (I checked at 1PM and they were open) but you need to let a security guard check your id first and they will let you inside to the will call booth. You have plenty of time to get your ticket and go back in line.

You'll be fine.. Hopefully by then they will be stricter about the LMZ line.. This one girl showed up LITERALLY at 5:15 and cut the entiiiiiiiiiiire line and was like the 6th person to get in.. Everyone kept screaming at security and we all pointed at her, and no one cared.. So after that everyone else just started running and going crazy... mess mess messssssssss

OMG...it's always that one person who "doesn't know whats going on" in GA that pulls that damn stunt. I never have the balls because I don't wanna cause the ruckus I know I would over Gaga. 

I'm coming from Baltimore and plan on hanging out all day around the venue. Hopefully by it being a Monday it won't be THAT bad.

Will call is inside the venue. You have to ask security to let you in. I heard part of soundcheck when I went in today. If you're going more than one night they still only let you pick up the tickets for that night's show.

Thank you, was there a long line? Not getting there until 7 the earliest so I won't have a good spot

Not a chabce.they don't care if it were like a Rebel XT 300D with a battered old kitlens, if it's bigger than a stick of butter you will have a hard time, if the lenses CAN be changed: no chance you're getting it

So that is why everyone had a huge panic attack and I almost got beaten up when I asked if I could get a little closer to Starlight and promised I'd leave before Gaga would get on?

because honestly, I love Lady Starlight and I just wanted to dance to Gaga so I didn't want to be in the front for her anyway. (dance>>>moshed)

ended up fainting and missing half the bloody show, had to buy 3 drinks to even get close to my friends again and even then people would not let me through so I couldn't let them know I was ok. security was horrible for not escorting me back to my friends but putting me all the way in the back. Dangerous too because what if they'd have been holding on to my medication? They weren't, but it's not a crazy scenario.

I've been to some concerts at Roseland before, and somehow someway... people did sneak in DSLRs like yours, Gian. However, because of tight security with Gaga: I wouldn't take this risk. If you're feeling ambitious: I would keep it in a purse/bag/messenger bag and wrap up the camera semi-thick sweater so they can't feel that it's a camera during the "touch" search and can't see it when they open your bag.

People were lining up 10pm the night before for the March 28th show so I'm not really sure.
