Yes, quality is much better than cd lossless. But you can notice the difference only if you use hi end acoustic.

DylanB 1
I know vinyl has better quality, but what is the best way to 'hear' that improvement- headphones or speakers?
unpetitmonstre 0
I know vinyl has better quality, but what is the best way to 'hear' that improvement- headphones or speakers? It is very difficult (near impossible) for the human ear to discern between CD lossless and vinyl lossless. Most headphone only range from 2 - 20kHz frequency response anyway. You won't be able to tell the difference between a CD and vinyl unless you have professional listening equipment. A CD rip is a better choice in terms of size and quality if you're not a professional. Vinyl will have small crackles and pops versus a CD which will have none. Hope this was helpful.
