Desperado 2,439
why are u freaking out tho? its not like DWUW is on #50 suddenly ...
VforVendetta 2,024
All of my friends knew it was the second single a few weeks ago and they don't follow her really. It just doesn't make sense that the song is around the same position as when it had 15M AI... The song is just not standing out enough now. I feel that the same happened also with Applause before the VMA's. It needs the preformance! Not the video, the performance.
MyStory 0
I think DWUW video is coming December 2nd. Come one, if it was coming on monday she would have promoted it. I also strongly believe it will have a huuge impact on the sales. #1 is coming! Edit: Can someone please explain to me why there's no banners on youtube? They suddenly just disappeared. Btrs 10
Yall dont be surprised if DWUW gets sh*tty views like Uncle, it won't have any banners either. How do we know Gaga isn't performing on the Voice?

Blues 0
Its weird, Gaga's promotion rarely gives her a noticeable boost anymore Applause on vmas, DWUW on X Factor UK, only big promo she has done both gave amazing boosts.
Mecano 1
If GaGa's performance doesn't make a positive impact in her sales after AMA's, I doubt the video can do something tbh.

How do we know Gaga isn't performing on the Voice? All the ones in here bashing Katy's views will be the ones having meltdowns. Mark my words. VforVendetta 2,024
I really hope so, but like others hav said, it may not rise too many spots because so many other songs ahead of it are being performed. Not all performances have the same inpact though and we know it. Applause had a much bigger boost from the VMAs that any other except Miley and maybe Justin Timberlake. craig 680
Yall dont be surprised if DWUW gets sh*tty views like Uncle, it won't have any banners either. That's my #1 worry for all the pop girls. Those banners were a huge factor driving views and sales. DWUW video will at least be somewhat controversial. Katy's suffered more because it was pretty and nice, but nothing to generate buzz.
Mills 446
The song is just not standing out enough now. I feel that the same happened also with Applause before the VMA's. It needs the preformance! Not the video, the performance. Yeah, more than anything, it needs that televised performance where non-fans and casual fans alike could actually watch and be intrigued, rather than a music video which first week could be very limited to her core fanbase and the usual haters. A music video is meant to complement a song - not to be fully dependent on it to actually sell. Television is still the most effective platform to move sales, not VEVO or YouTube. Blues 0
Rihanna's What Now didn't have banners and had 15m views in 3 days, there's still promo for new releases in the bottom corner of videos on Vevo. And I don't think we need to worry about Gaga's first day views, even the 10 second snippets she uploaded on her private channel had a few 100k views the first day. Mills 446
DWUW cannot flop, I mean, it's impossible, she couldn't make a more perfect song to gain back the public appeal. If DWUW do not work, I would say nothing would but a major break... It cannot by all means. If one has to put DWUW and Unconditionally side by side, one could clearly hear which single has a bigger potential - regardless of who artist sang it. But if it did, then the clearer it'd be that no matter how good a single Gaga releases this era, the casual mainstream music fans wouldn't be here for her as much as they do for her contemporaries. And that's just completely irritating to see that consumers are judging her based on her brand, rather than on her material. God, I hope I'm wrong. jhonyguy04 3
If DWUW can't be a hit, nothing Gaga releases can become a hit. She can release the next WFL and flop.
