I don't mind safe singles, but her performances also have been safe which is very unlike her. Applause/DWUW/Gypsy are all super radio-ready. Take advantage of that sure-fire hit status and pull some controversy.. its not like radio wont play them like crazy anyway I would understand not wanting that if you have a risky single. then thats just too much risk everywhere Grabbing headlines? Lets hope that it will happen the same with DWUW video. I hope that people arent yet in the holiday spirit. It is a simple concept and a simple song and its all working at the current time. I'm still keeping an eye out for it at the AMAs. If Xtina can hold it together, it could end up being the scene stealer.
