If this were the case, don't you think HDD could make this simple mathematical problem themselves? This is not 33% of TOTAL SALES. That would mean they already know the final number. This means 33% of stores/retailers that are on the market REPORTED their sales. One store could sell 1 copy or a big one could sell 10,000 copies. It makes for the same percentage.
