Robert 296
I loved everything...the performances were amazing especially that Applause/New York New York performance. By the way, do you think Applause was live???? I can't really tell because the voice was too perfect for being a live Edited November 17, 2013 by Robert
alffy74 53
Alternatively, some of us are just objective enough to recognise a bad performance. I absolutely loved her Gypsy performance. It was a bit awkward, but I thought she rocked it. The DWUW performance, on the other hand, was just too far. She can be s-xy and s-xual without resorting to Miley Cyrus levels of headline-grabbing embarrassment. this is a song about abusing her body; if you notice that the emphasis is on the body abuse and not on creative freedom…you won't own my mind BUT do what you want with my body, instead of do what you want with my body, but you won't own my mind. So why are people not expecting a s-xual performance? Edited November 17, 2013 by alffy74

Oh and you can still make a s-xy performance, i dont mind even i i expected something else cause the song is about media throwing shade at her, but that was like watching monkeys have s-x... its just awkward. HORRORHOLIC 107
She could, but she'd probably get just as much flack for sounding bad and out of breath lol and a lot of old popstars used to COMPLETELY lipsync too, so at least that era is pretty much gone. (Britney aside :X) But at what point in those two performances was she doing anything that would have left her out of breath ? I think she just does it now because that's what's expected. Why do people lip sync in the 1st place and why do people bash those who do ? They do it to cover the fact they can't pull it off vocally during a live performance. Isn't that exactly the same reason you're saying Gaga does it ? and if that's the case then really, what is the major difference ? I can't help and think back at the interview with Ellen where she is praising Gaga for actually singing live mistakes and all. Can anyone honestly say it doesn't distract from the performance when she completely stops singing but the vocals continue while her actual singing starts and stops randomly ? it looks and sounds like a mess. HORRORHOLIC 107
I don't find the DWUW performance to be that awkward actually. Sure, not one of my favourites, but it's far from bad. Lol, when I read your guys' comments on here, I thought I was in for a p0rn-ish performance, and it turned out to be just lukewarm. It wasn't just awkward because it was s-xual, they just had absolutely no chemistry and Gaga especially looked like she was just going through the motions. I hope she does the song alone from now on. I think those two performances might have been the worst/most awkward performances I've seen her do. That said, her opening performance, The Madonna joke and old Gaga were perfect! I take your point, and I do agree to an extent that there is no genuine chemistry between the two, it did seem a bit forced. But I still found it entertaining. On the other hand, I would have to disagree with you about the Gypsy performance. I thought it was gorgeous. Minus the guitar playing part, she just can't even pretend to know how to play it
Pop 4,541
She killed it! Amazing acting, amazing performances, personality, looks! She's officially 100% back! The Taylor Brigade: KNOCKOUT
Deacon 5
She did such an incredible job with the skits. I wasn't too big on the music performances, but she's so good at comedy. And another thing that impressed me is the fact that she is able to poke fun at herself for the worst things - the Express Yourself "cover" and being forgotten. That skit where she was old and forgotten was one of the greatest I've seen in a long time because it was hysterical and heartbreaking at the same time. alffy74 53
I'm seriously done with all the negativity on here. It is true that Lady Gaga's decay will come at the hands of her own fans. What an ungrateful fan base tbh. It's not enough that this woman is taking stabs from the media, other celebrities, other fan bases, it's her own fans criticizing her every move. And don't bring the objectivity bullsh*t. There is nothing objective about what people feel or think. the only objective thing is looking at a red colour and saying it is red; or 2+2 = 4. Opinions about performances are not objective; opinions about songs are not objective; critic reviews about an album are not objective; they are all subjective and the only reason we agree with them is because they are aligned with our own. At a time when Gaga is going through tons of bullsh*t, our job as fans is to *****ing support her, with every thing she does, or else, just *****ng leave and take your negativity elsewhere! Sorry if I offended anyone.

She was perfect in this episode and I LOVED all the perfomances and skits.
miss anthropy 0
The only awkward thing was R Kelly singing to pre-recorded vocals. Hmmmm.... are we even sure that was the real R Kelly?? http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/the-juice/5770633/r-kelly-impersonator-allegedly-performs-at-scheduled-concert-in
Mythos 3,199
Do you know one of R Kelly's most famous songs? it's called SEX ME. Get a clue lol LoL? Who cares about R. Kelly? Have you heard Gaga talking about this song? It's about media harassing the artist, which eventually leads to death of art... 10:40 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7n2rjGV04I
