Prism sold 53K in the 1st week in the UK, don't spread false information.

Isn't first day of the charting week in the UK a Sunday, but ARTPOP was released on a Monday?, so others' sales were 2 days?

Yes it is. Idk when Celine's album was released though, maybe Monday as well.

Comparing to BTW that's not great (just good) but BTW had no longevity at all

so I guess they wish for longevity for ARTPOP era (look at Applause, not a big hit when it was released but  definitely a BIG hit song thanks to its longevity

Rollercoaster

All albums usually come on Mondays, then the chart is counted and announced on the Sunday that follows.

38, 000 in one day isn't bad at all. Especially seeing as that won't be 100% of physical sales (they are usually late to report ALL sales).

Slay!

Ok guys Prism sold 54 k in the UK in it's first week yes. Not 120k. But that was in it's first WEEK. Now this is Gaga's first day sales, which is 38k.

38 x 7 = 266k

266 - 40k (I don't think it will sell 38k everyday) = 226k

So ARTPOP will probably sale 226k in it's first week in the UK. That's amazing.

The album has been on pre-order for months, so it wont come close to 40k a day. Most likely around 70k
