It's based on the same line from the song Pop Music I know that it is based on but if you sing "Pop music" you have to say it really weirdly to fit with the arrangement where 'football' was originally. It goes from 1 word to 2, that tiny pause will slow the pace of the whole song. But seriously I don't understand the hate for that line in the song? She's reffering to taking someones heart out like a game of football.. like tackling it? :neutral: I really like the line!
