She might make pop music, but her background is heavily influenced by rock. Queen, David Bowie, Semi Precious Weapons, Luc Carl, Lady Starlight, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and more. Punk and rock form a significant slice of her musical inspiration along with jazz and pop. Judas Priest and Iron Maiden are heavy metal bands, not punk. I know for a fact that Iron Maiden hated punk. I understand that. I'm just saying Gaga has a rocker spirit. I've always been more of a heavy metal than punk rock person myself. Gaga should be grateful to Madonna. At #19 ITunes less than 72 hours prior to release. Gaga needs to promote her work, not seek publicity through Madonna. Just trying to help. Lol.
