Kayla 7,595
Well this Is still something left from Gaga's power ... I mean Katy was literally everywhere the whole October, she had 200MAI+ for Roar alone In the album release week + 30-40M AI for Unconditionally, Roar was huge as ****, they proclaimed her as the biggest artist at the moment, and with all the promo In the release week, she did 285k ... Gaga on the other hand has done only the ART RAVE and the album track by track on Sirius + KIIS ... Katy also had SNL before the release week ... Gaga's sales are dissapointing for sure but It's not a flop ... It's just a drop.. Christina, Kesha etc.. this Is a flop .. I mean why the hell Gaga doing Rihanna and Katy's numbers means flop, when people praise Katy and Rihannas numbers ? Preach. And we talk about BTW's number's, but that album was also sold for 99 cents. And wasn't it 400k of total album sales that came from that 99 cent sale? And it was sold at the most recent peak in her career? Drop, not flop. Bitch is still successful as ****, y'all are just too caught up in comparing numbers to notice it. And if you keep judging success by numbers, you'll let real talent and a meaningful artist be seen as a "flop" while someone with less dedication and soul is seen as more successful because they got the GP to spend money on an album. Like if y'all wanna compare Gaga to Katy, play them albums side by side and tell me which one is more basic, lackluster, and sounds the same throughout. Give you a hint, it's not ARTPOP. Even though you don't see ARTPOP as the Dominatrix of Pop right now, that's the **** that's gonna be remembered, and it's Gaga's contributions to ART and POP that people will actually look back on. Talking about numbers is fine, but be realistic. If someone is #1 in multiple countries, #2 in more, if their pre-orders broke records, that's not a flop. It may be a drop from what we're used to, but she's certainly not flopping. Get real. It's not THAT bad Yeah, I guess compared to that site this is pretty tame. But it's still really frustrating. Like #2 is considered flopping in this thread. wtf. Sales that are comparable to other successful artists who are more appealing to the GP is considered flopping. idgi. Gaga's pre-order didn't break records though, and this reply would fit so much on ATRL. So I'll just reply with Drag a bit :sistrens:
Fizzy 2,217
Interesting FACT: Applause is #11 on Both US and Canadian iTunes. Do What U Want is #15 on Both US and Canadian iTunes. “The scars on my mind are on Replay”

Yeah I know we are over-reacting,but u have to understand our frustrations. For the last 2 years I've been part of this thread almost daily. Seeing this lame numbers is shocking. Considering almost 50% of 1st week numbers are from 3-months long pre-orders, 2nd week drop might be massive. I am trying to be positive, cause I enjoy ARTPOP, really disappointed with feedback from the GP and critics.
Bye 3,947
It was the MOST pre-ordered album...soo...that beat MDNA. ARTPOP reached #1 with preorders in most country. But no it isn't the most preordered album. Even 20/20 experience had more preorders ;) ARTPOP did great with preorders however. She still has a sizeable fanbase.
