And it sounds like she thinks releasing Gypsy will just keep her career stagnant. I don't get that. At all. Gypsy needs to be a single. And all those old folks on Howard Stern calling in to praise Gaga's performances. Unbelievable. She literally converts people with her acoustic performances. I think people are still very curious about Gaga when she's in a mainstream venue, and she's been really well-received there before. where did you hear that about YTMA? I read that her performance was the peak for viewer numbers on techcrunch. I know we're all freaked out about Eminem's first week sales, which are impressive, and we're calculating what the drop was for the second week for Recovery, BUT..... what albums launched during Recovery's second week? Did it have to compete with a major release like Gaga's? Maybe Recovery's second week had no real competition, so we can't really compare it. The only albums I could find that were released in Recovery's second week were Brandon Flowers solo album and The Blueprint.
