SpadesToStart 2,972
ratings wise i am predicting SNL to flop and her special too SNL will do fine. Most people watch SNL on a weekly basis regardless of the host.

aussie27 0
Who cares if it debuts at 1/2/3 or 100? I am a Madonna fan - I don't love Lady Gage but I don't mind some of her songs. Madonna has definitely had her ups and downs career wise and even Ray Of Light her awesome album that went 4x Platinum debuted at number 2. Why is everybody having meltdowns? It shows that many of you are shallow and only support Gaga if she is number 1 or has stellar sales. A true fan would stick by Lady Gaga. I love Madonna even after the Hard Candy crappy album. I like MDNA but I absolutely don't love it. I think the gp takes issue with Gaga because she set the bar too high for this album - if she shut her mouth about all the artistic crap and just relaxed with the music she would not have pissed so many people off. Finally, it's great to mock artists when your favourite is "slaying" [i hate that word] but your favourite act can't always be number 1! I think I've raised valid points without being too critical - I'm just trying to tell you guys to take a breather it's not the end of the world! Another thing, judging by the relatively low sales I don't think this album will have longevity. I didn't say it was crappy I just think it will struggle. I actually don't mind "applause" and "dope." aussie27 0
Why does the gp have to be so unforgiving with her? No matter what she does, the majority of people view it negatively :I Like I said I'm not a major fan but I will tell you what annoys me [remember I like some of her stuff] - she comes across too pretentious, is hypocritical e.g. "i don't care about sales" but then tells people to buy multiple copies of "applause." I think the art concept is not something I think the average pop listener gives a **** about. I'm not here to argue just trying to give you an outside perspective. You guys generally only listen to people who absolutely adore her so don't hear or want to hear different views. Another big issue and it did piss me off personally and many other off is that many believe she tries to scam the charts. Payola and telling fans to put a video song on a 9 hour loop and having a 99c album is annoying. I do realise it was amazon's decision to sell it for 99c and she got the full regular amount but people don't realise or in fact don't want to know about that. Arturo 40,746
On the bright side, she's officially sold over 48,000,000 singles in the U.S. Inching closer and closer to 50M. She was at 46,322,000 according to Billboard with only Applause's first week sales factored in. But if you add how much Applause sold since week 2 up until now, and DWUW, Venus, and Dope's sales, it exceeds 48M :P

aussie27 0
I somewhat agree but the youtube link was deleted almost inmediatly and playlist views don't count I know it was deleted but the word still gets around that's the ****ed up thing about the internet if you make a mistake and even if you delete it it can bite you in the ass. From my understanding playlist views do count on billboard. I'm a little older than most of you monsters so I beg you be careful what you say and or post online [especially pictures wise] it may not help you in the future.
