Who told her to take a year off and promote some stupid ass perfume instead of focusing on her music. What is OBAMA 0 Posted November 15, 2013 Share Posted November 15, 2013 charts matter if you perform well your label will see you as a more desirable product in their rooster and invest more money in the production of the music, more money in the promottion(live performances, tv spots, VIDEOS, finding better slots on awards and talk shows, etc...) wich equals to a better perception AND presentation of your product + it gives the artist more freedom because they are not counting the coins when they think about a live performance or about a video. Gaga is not an indie artist, she says she doesn't care about charts but she tweeted a link to replay the applause video just for chart placing pruposes, she IS a pop artist and in pop music CHARTS MATTER that's all Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
