Freddy 4,421
In Canada, Eminem was blocked by Celine Yep Celine went TRIPLE PLATINUM in her first week, and had the biggest first week since 2007 o_O ***She debuted at #2 in the States and I doubt her fans are having meltdown like here.... craig 680
At the end of the day, she needs to release a LP such as the Fame Monster, with material she knows is way better than than ARTPOP, and release it within a couple months, so that it will count towards ARTPOP's sales ala TF/TFM. Cause that worked so well for Nicki Minaj The Re-upload-whatever.. She'd be better to put out the new material as a new album next fall, like Rihanna does. Americano 31,061
Okay, and when she debuts at 250 K, and then the next week is like 45K, and then the third is like 9, Ill be sitting her. Ok, and when SNL pushes DWUW + Applause into the Top 10 of iTunes, and then the AMAs pushes her higher, and then the video makes her have one of her biggest hits in a very long time right as the holidays begin.. I'll be here too.

Doot 2
Seriously. I think we're all disappointed and somewhat worried, and I dont know about all of you, but Im still confident she has 2-3 more hits left in this record. To abandon it over week 1 would be the most amateur and money-driven decision shes ever made Says the one who said that if you were her manager she'd be on television everyday. That doesnt sound money driven at all.
Ozzy8923 9
Well. Celine's been around for over 20 years so its OK for her to get a #2 album at this point in her career, but Gaga 5 years into hers is a different story.

Christ, go and organise another download day or something then. Quit b---hing about nothing, there's still plenty more in the pipeline for ARTPOP. That doesnt sound money driven at all. Or maybe I think the album is amazing and deserves more exposure? Just because I want her to perform doesn't mean it's all about sales. I think I can vouch for MANY users here in saying we miss seeing her on TV here in America and wish she would be performing her new music more often
Shaney 5,515
I think ARTPOP will end up being an overall success. I see this album as a learning experience for Gaga, and she is going to grow a lot these next two albums. Hopefully there is an EP for ARTPOP. Morphine Prince 106,127
Gaga needs to hire the top posters in this thread as her managers LOL. Seriously... this thread is full of better ideas than what Interscope has been doing (or not doing).
Americano 31,061
We shouldve known when only 200k of her fans would spent $1.29 on her new single in August, nevermind over $10 on her new album on iTunes. Very obvious red flag we ignored with our predictions
Harry 26,836
My biggest worry is that Venus will be the next single and not Gypsy. That would seriously kill it all imo. God forbid she performs it on SNL too
Arturo 40,746
Some people here are acting as though she's completely over and others are still acting like she's the biggest pop star ever. Well it's neither. She's not over, she's not going to flop into oblivion. However this is a wake up call and now we know to lower our expectations. Here's to a good DWUW single era in the U.S, U.K, and Canada at the very least :)
