Gypsy's definitely her best shot at a post-album smash. I don't even like it all that much, but it's the obvious choice. I think it could get an epic video, too. Redeem that TEOG mess. Maybe it's not the smartest idea promo wise, but obviously she knows what's going on. Besides, her saying there's no marketing plan is a bit of a stretch, there's obviously stuff going on what with her performances, interviews, promo singles, songs in commercials, deals with retailers etc etc... ---- I really will never understand why some of you in this thread get off on not just criticising but bashing Gaga. It's totally ****ing bizarre. I enjoy tracking her chart performance as much as anyone else that uses this thread, but not to the point where I will literally let it affect my mood. Some of you just seem so angry, calling her names etc... Is it really necessary? We all want her to do well, but some of you actually sit on your computer and insult a woman you don't know because of the way she is handling her career, as if you work at Interscope and these things will actually be a concern in your day to day life. I know it's a bit preachy and 'Born This Way' of me guys but I just don't see the point. You're getting angry and putting negative vibes on here with minimal reason to do so. It's natural that we will be bummed if things aren't going the way we would like them to do but why can't we just take it on the chin and brush it off? We don't need to sit here and call the woman that we are all on here for names. It's sad and boring, to be honest. Just wanted to get this off my chest. It's album release week, we should be enjoying the music, excited and happy to see how much she will manage to sell in the first week. Not letting our views on her marketing strategies ruin our day.
