I really think that she chose to collaborate with him because she wanted to judge him by his talent not by the things people say about him, but the whole situation is just really awkward. Terry directed Beyonce's XO video, which is her current Pop single. He also directed a video for Taylor Swift. There are different degrees of work/collaboration. He photographs many people and celebrities. That said, he seems to be very close to her, which has concerned me for a while knowing his reputation.
