Ceremonials 0
Saw it last night, agree that it felt rushed but still loved it. There were an annoying group of teens at my screening who shrieked when anything remotely good was going to happen and completely ruined the moment so I wrote a complaint to the cinema and they're sending me a free pair of tickets :D Also why can't I find a decent mockingjay pin anywhere? I need to own one /nerd. I should of done the same. So many little girls swooning over gale being all loud and whatnot it was making me mad. And I need to find one too. MattyMonster 3
Um... Some ****asses in my cinema started laughing when Rue died. And I mean: LAUGHING! I´m not even joking: If I had an arrow and bow at that moment, I would kill them
Pookie 5
What? Why would anyone laugh? I was expecting to cry but was snapped out the moment by annoying teens going "awwwww". Can't wait to go again with my free tickets and & watch in peace.
Rito 0
I was blown away by the acting too. If I'm like this for my second favorite book, i'm afraid of what will happen when Catching Fire comes out. haha.

Ceremonials 0
I just heard someone gasp REALLY hard during that scene It was crazy I also jumped pretty bad when the mutts appeared . I wish katniss would have realized that they had the other tributes eyes. That way people who haven't read the books can understand how truly sick the capital is. Omg, yes I jumped when the first mutt appeared. And yeah, that was one of the few things that bothered me. I was looking for that.
Parka 1
Unfortunately, yes. I also don't really like the fact that Katniss gets the pin from Greasy Sae and gives it to Prim, who later gives it back to Katniss. I understand that they didn't want to introduce Madge, but I wish they did. :( But yeah, it's kinda impossible to show everything from the books... My guess about the exemption of Madge is because.. It would be really difficult to explain her back-story without making the film 10 hours long. Also, in Catching Fire, I think it would be kinda difficult to show about how her aunt was a tribute with Haymitch..and that it would have been difficult there too to explain that Katniss' mom was friends with her. It sucks that that all isn't in there, but I guess getting it from Greasy Sae is the next best thing. Oh well.. I thought that introducing the mockingjay pin this way in the movie was okay because it allowed Katniss to visit The Hob, which otherwise probably wouldn't have gotten an introduction. SMO 54
I just got back from the theatre and to be honest, I'm quite disappointed. It may be because I'm focusing on the negatives. I didn't have the fear or tension or feelings evoked as I did in the book. Also, they left out SOOOOOOOOOO much! And not just tiny details, huge ones. Whatever, it is what it is. They could have done so much more with it though. I absolutely LOVED Haymitch and Effie. They did so great! I thought it was awesome that you could see the gamemakers in action. My favorite part was in the end where Seneca was locked in the room with nightlock. On another note, everyone in the theatre was so obnoxious. Clapping when someone dies, stupid remarks, laughing for no reason, and when Cato's cannon went off, some girl screamed "YASSS!!!11!1" How disgusting and disrespectful.
