If you're not gay and you don't want them to get the wrong impression then if it comes up maybe just try and explain that you're buying it for the interview. I imagine they must already know you're a pretty big Gaga fan so they should hopefully understand. I'd hope that they wouldn't give you grief for it regardless of whether or not you were gay because homophobic attitudes in parents can be really harmful, whether you're gay or straight. If your parents are homophobic then that is really sucky for you and I'm sorry, but they might well be way more open minded than you might think, given half the chance. If you are homophobic, then that is also really sucky for you and also everyone else, because homophobia is neurotic and self loathing, and not a good state of mind to be in or around. If you are still worried about it you could always buy the magazine privately, take out the pages with the interview, and throw the rest of the magazine away.
