craig 680
A newspaper/site here in norway gave Roar a D when it came out, and PRISM a C when it came out and stated that Roar was the best song on the album.. Wtf?! Shows Katy's singles have a way of growing on you.
Hello Mr. Radio 45
These reviews are going to kill the sales... the Decay.
craig 680
the album is already selling much much better i know the prediction from HDD says 375k but i think they were playing it safe, i'm pretty sure it will at least hit 400k and could even hit over 450k if things go right this week Why not stick with the original 500+. Katy under performing in 2010 lead people to underestimate Taylor's and Gaga's next albums. Could happen again. These reviews are going to kill the sales... the Decay. First they aren't any worse than her previous albums. They always slam pop and dance. Second, these aren't $10 Hollywood movies. People can preview it themselves. MyStory 0
Shows Katy's singles have a way of growing on you. Critics are professionals. The music dont have to grow on them, they have the ability to judge a song from their first listen. Otherwise they are not true critics.
pie-kun 1,765
These reviews are going to kill the sales... the Decay. Nobody reads reviews lol and they aren't even bad. It's Metacritic reviews are good so far.
Foivos 64
Reviews are not that important for charts! Of course if a magazine gives a good rating to an album can boost the sales but concerning the charts it affects it very little. But I think they are important because professional (the most times ) comment either positively or negatively the work of Gaga so it is nice to hear their opinion an always RESPECT THEM! Unless they give a score under 70/

Otherwise they are not true critics. A lot of them can't. I see critics often make it up to artists late in their career for lack of appreciation earlier. brizoda 3,379
gaga will release another DJWS single for sure - s-xxx dreams or MANiCURE .. she loves DJWS Zedd is being paid dust. all he got was those uncommercial-themed songs, and he tried to make them commercial. same with Madeon. the safest from those two are GUY and Gypsy, but those two aren't their best on the album gaga will release another DJWS single for sure - s-xxx dreams or MANiCURE .. she loves DJWS Zedd is being paid dust. all he got was those uncommercial-themed songs, and he tried to make them commercial. same with Madeon. the safest from those two are GUY and Gypsy, but those two aren't their best on the album

bumblebee 2,528
EX F**ING CUSE ME Can you please imagine anybody who decides to read the reviews of an album before purchasing it? In the times when you can listen to all the tracks on YouTube online, or on spotify, not to mention that you can download them illegally and purchase in case you love it so much? Her music will speak for itself no matter whether critics like it or not

Bt1 5,213
Reviews can really have an impact on charts. They at least have an impact on awards ( Grammy Awards) and we know how much a Grammy can help. You may not see in the first week sales, but having good reviews translated into sales. craig 680
for someone like gaga who just titled her album as ARTPOP, critics matter Who says real art should be appreciated immediately and widely by critics? Especially middle-aged male critics with genre prejudices?. It would be easier for Gaga is she would play within the rules of an established game like indie rock or whatever. Reviews can really have an impact on charts. They at least have an impact on awards ( Grammy Awards) and we know how much a Grammy can help. You may not see in the first week sales, but having good reviews translated into sales. Teenage Dream had a Metacritic score under 60 and got a Grammy nom. Lana won a Brit award despite a metacritic score worse than any Gaga album. Some of Kanye's best reviewed works have done worst in sales and radio airplay. Femme Fatale has better reviews than classic Britney 10 years ago.
