Applause is over 100M AI on radio and DWUW is surging faster than Applause is falling, so it's not like she's absent from the singles scene. I love GUY, the techno just may be hard for some people to swallow True, and Gypsy is upbeat enough that it feels like a change in pace from DWUW, so I think that sequence would work well. Like nothing else screams radio hit to me. Applause/DWUW/Gypsy are DEFINITELY the safest songs on the entire album. I see what you mean. GUY/Sex Dreams are a second tier to me. If she wants to try these tougher singles, she could, just start stealing headlines and scaring the media so people look her up. If it leads to strong digital performance, radio will feel some heat. The way all the voices combine together on the pre-chorus and the beat kicks in so hard in the chorus is just everything ! BTW guys do you think Gypsy is channelling a bit like Mumford and Sons types of music. I mean, the way it's uptempo with the guitar. What is that style called ?
