Even regarding the circumstances around it, opening with an increase from your last album is always a good thing.

Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~

Surprised at those numbers tbh, and that's not dragging. When you have a first single as big as Roar and you have that amount of promo(I mean it was bigger than BTW) and you're an artiste who's not polarizing and everyone can like, I'd think she'd be pushing 400k coupled also with the fact that she's coming off another hugely successful era and well known now.

Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn

Gaga's pre-orders on iTunes are currently at 120,000. With 2 more full weeks before the album + amazon pre-orders, total number of pre-orders should be between 150,000-160,000.

Thats my prediction. So it will easily cross 300k mark.

Are you sure about this number? I dont think that only 40k people bought DWUW separate from preorders.

Well, 'Roar' is performing similarly to 'We Are  Never Ever Getting Back Together' and 'Dark Horse' has had similar iTunes longevity to 'Red', so I'm expecting Katy to sell ~1.2M.

As much as it's kinda funny now, this was my own thought process too for thinking she'd sell >400k.

Having big singles and not being polarizing are highly overrated when it comes to album sales.

Today, the keys are having a passionate fanbase, and making strong filler-free albums.

uhm i predict atleast 500-600k for gaga. i mean she just need interscope to not mess up with the promotion anymore. the album itself is her best yet so people will love it for sure.

Remember that you are unique. Like everyone else.
