I was referring more to the fact that she deemed it her most personal album yet...

But you're probably right.

Sigh.

And what can we expect from Perfume?

Do we know some lyrics or the main topic of the song?

I know that it has been hyped as the song with her best vocals in ages and that's written by Sia... but I don't know if GP are here for a ballad from Britney anymore.

I don't know. I just know it's a song about smelling Britney's perfume when the guy has s-x with another girl or some BS like that.

Sia's songwriting is overrated and I'm bracing myself for the possibility of the song bombing. She's never released a ballad as a second single since 1999.

I don't know the producer. I'm speculating it'll be William Orbit, but maybe it's Greg Kurstin [i'm surprised he and Britney haven't collabed] or possibly Danja.

If it's will.i.am tho...

Does he even do ballads?

Oh well.

So yeah, a box full of surprises this'll be.

It might be her biggest hit ever tho! But that's just me being delusional. :lmao:

Britney is releasing a ballad? Ready for the bomb in all the wrong ways :wtf:

I need a real hit from her.

Gaga and Katy are already coming to smash with Uncon/DWUW, she better got on track soon !

She said it was downtempo. Don't really know if that equates to a ballad.

I rarely take Britney's word when it comes to describing her music because the poor thing said she poured her heart and soul out for FF and she said the exact same for Britney Jean. :rip:

I'm thinking this could be something similar to Inside Out. For some reason, all of Britney's songs somehow are intertwined with s-xual references/undertones and I think the same can apply to Perfume. :lmao:

"Applause" was commercially successful. It became Gaga's twelfth top-ten single in the United States, peaking at number four on the Billboard Hot 100. The record reached number-one in Lebanon, Greece, Hungary, South Korea and Spain, peaking within the top five in the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Wallonia while also peaking within the top 10 in over 15 other market

May not be a smash hit but it was certainly a more than good comeback of Gaga and most importantly reiindtroduction to GP.

APPLAUSE HAS DONE GREAT FOR ME

Reaching positions is easy. Its sales aren't a commercial success imo
