Doot 2 Posted October 23, 2013 Share Posted October 23, 2013 i am not looking at this thread anymore, so much conflict. my final thought on it is i am not happy about dwuw as the single bc its not my fav song. i like it. i dont love it. its medium to me. i wish for venus instead. however, i do not HATE gaga or feel betrayed by her. its not like interscope made her release some song someone wrote for her that she had nothing to do with. she wrote this song and it means a lot to her, just as much as venus or any other song. i am a little disappointed and i admit it has killed some of my excitement for the album and performances bc i was very excited for venus, but oh well. she cannot please everyone and she has to do whats best for her. i wish her the best success w dwuw and look forward to venus and the rest of the album! keep in mind she is aware what u monsters are saying n i think in a weeks time u will regret many comments u have made You never heard Venus... And seeing as how her recent tour was very successful after after three decades under her belt, Gaga has been big since 2009, and her record label allows her to make music, but they are a business that has to make a profit or else her ass gets dropped. And actually no, let's not pretend that her fanbase is this unified love child that spreads peace love and cookies. Half of the fans were calling her a **** earlier for doing this. If you are here for the music, then listen to the ****ing music and quit causing a fuss. How is it a betrayal? You are getting the song on the same date and getting a video? You can't say you are here for the music, not the charts, and complain about Venus not being a single when you are getting the song on the same day it was promised. Do you even hear yourself speak? Point blank, if the "fans", and I use that term loosely because the way half of you all acted today is embarrassing, care about the music, then listen to the music and shut up, and don't worry about the GP and the profits. I haven't seen a single person bash this song (except a couple on this forum ironically). Even hip-hop and RnB fans are eating this song up and saying stuff like "Gaga's back". The only thing I complais is Venus being released, I think it can be confusing. She should stop the promo singles releases now, in my opinion. But well, I'm not an expert so lets see how it works :) I'm happy with the success of DWUW and I hope it gets bigger. They should do a lyric video now (a decent one)!
