I've always been drawn to artists who view music as something needed to explore and play around with rather than trying to put something out that is going to be easy for the radio. NOW yes I do like seeing GAGA have her radio success, but honestly I could have had ten more Venus type tracks on ARTPOP. Or it would have been cool to have an ARTPOP 2 with all of the weird and trippy experiments that didn't make it on the actual album... And I'd probably say the same thing about DWUW on a pure pop heaven level. She's got so much creativity inside of her soul and it's bursting out all over ARTPOP. The whole "I can't help the way I'm feeling" is very abrupt and almost interrupts the second verse but I think that kind of goes with the lyrics. She just can't hold in her excitement and her feelings anymore. Gaga said herself the hooks are the buildup to the orgasm so it's only fitting if it's a bit confusing and all over the place and leads to one of the best most addictive choruses she has ever produced.
