TEANUS 15,090
No you hear so many stories of monsters fighting over entry, people lying about when they got there etc. Maybe a simpler, more full proof version of it then sure, but if it was the same then no :) British social ladies with upturned pinkies, glasses clinking // xoxoTEANUS
geopang 4,831
I followed the rules, got there at 8am, and was #300 something.... They need to enforce the 8am rule because the camping was out of control
jxckk 959
No, i want something different now. Monster Pit was very much Born This Way and I want a completely different stage for ARTPOP tour.
Slayer 9,227
Maybe it is, yeah. But I'd rather not be squashed up against some squealing fans who are totally over the top and can't cope if Gaga breathes or something. There's actually a lot more space in the pit than you'd think. At least there was in the one at Twickenham. There was way more space than at your average gig or festival. I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!! Haroon 49,685
Yes if it's planned better. I read and was told that if you arrived before 9am or something and tried queuing then you'd be disqualified from being eligible for the Monster Pit. So when I did arrive in time for the queuing to actually begin it turned out that the Monster Pit line was full? They hadn't enforced the rules that they themselves had made - either make the rules and stick to them, or don't say there are any rules at all if there aren't going to be any It looked fun from what I could see though, like actual space to dance. I was in the 2nd row from the front in the normal standing area and that still had an amazing view but we were squished like sardines
display name 4,360
Although I had a great time being so close to her during the show, I was able to be equally as close to her in the little monster zone, and the experience of getting into the zone was not nearly as stressful as getting into the pit was for me. The monster pit should not happen again.
ProudUnicorn 37
St. Paul monsters knew whats up with the pit. I had an amazing time front row in the monster pit.
Jesse Pinkman 4,660
I couldn't go but everyone on GGD seemed to complain about it! :/ If she does do it, I hope she makes a better system! It's science, bitch
Tyler 109
I want the pit to stay, but they need to establish a set of rules and stick to them. I'm not anti-camping, but everyone needs to be on the same page and given the same opportunity. So if the rules say "NO CAMPING, ANYONE AT THE ARENA BEFORE 8AM IS DISQUALIFIED", then that is what should be enforced. If the rules say "CAMP AS LONG AS YOU LIKE", then that is also fine. The main issue with the pit was that people got butthurt over campers because they had stuck to the rules and campers had technically broken them. Zilla 13,395
Yes only if they keep the "get your wristband at 8, leave and come back at 5" thing. 𝙸'𝚖 𝚊 𝚓𝚘𝚛𝚝𝚜 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚓𝚎𝚕𝚕𝚢 𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚎𝚜 𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚍 𝚘𝚏 𝚐𝚒𝚛𝚕.
FeedTax 280
The last few dates Monster Pit set up was perfect.. you arrived, got given a wristband with a number. You are then free to go home (they encouraged this) and come back at 4pm and line up in order of your wristband's number. This was perfect. If she does this again, i'd be happy for a monster pit. I lined up 14hrs for my monster pit and got in no dramas so i don't mind either way tbh.
rivingtonrebels 245
Yes only if they keep the "get your wristband at 8, leave and come back at 5" thing. Honestly that still sucked. In Vancouver we had to come back at 4. So we stood in Vancouver in January which is so effing cold for 3 hours before we were even let in the venue. Also it meant from 4-the end of the show you couldn't pee or eat. Kinda BS.
tiffa 169
A lot of people HATED the pit, primarily because it required them to wait outside for hours on end to ensure a spot in the pit. I love the idea. Tt was the same concept as the Monster Ball. Instead of paying for it, however, you had to "spend time" for it. It ensured her that TRUE FANS were getting in, instead of people who happened to have the money. It was certainly easier on my wallet. But, in retrospect, people cannot become absent in their real lives to do this either, and people felt it was unfair. Both ways were unfair. I think what she should do, to equalize it, is give people a choice. Money or time? Say there are 500 people for the pit. 25-50% should be available for purchase and the rest should be optional. :)
