Lumiere

Honestly it can happen. She is set to perform at the Youtube music awards, and the song is going to be performed on Glee, and i think she's gonna be hosting and performing on SNL. Three great promo oppurtunities. So don't write anything off just yet.

I almost forgot those!  :excited2:  :excited2:  :excited2:

Haroon

I was unsure if I meant it when Applause came out when I was like "I'd rather it have longevity than hit #1 and fall off", but now I KNOW that I'm glad that it didn't hit #1 then fall out a few weeks later

Can we use Applause as a future example to not freak out if a Gaga single doesn't hit #1? :awesome:

ARTPOPSYCHOLOGY

Another indicator that a song doesn't have to be #1 to slay ..amazing ! It'll only get better from here !!

How is this possible?! Ive only heard APPLAUSE ONCE on the radio :awkney:

You must be sheltered from radio, I hear it on at least two radio stations once a day

this also proves you don't need excessive promo for a song ; the audience doesn't get sick of it and they want to hear it on their own, hoping the rest of the ARTPOP singles go this way, unless they aren't as radio friendly

same. but this weird thing keeps happening to me. I've gone to the movies 4 times since Applause came out and EVERY time Applause has been the first song on the radio getting in the car on the way to the movies, and the first song on leaving the movies to go home.
