how did you get this from the word DOPE? and Gaga has not been hinting at any trauma during her early 20s...

Not from the title, from her description. She said the song turned into a "deep confession" and YES she has been talking about early traumas in almost every interview this performance. Most specifically was the itunes festival where she said something happened but she didn't want to go into specifics.

He actually only produced 'All Over Again' from FS/LS. Still a great song though. Not sure about the other albums you named.

Yass, I actually enjoyed his metal more.

Though Licensed to III, RHCP's Californication and All of SOAD discography

are the albums that makes me stanning for him :omfgaga:

Ratchet, Jewels N' Drugs, Tea, Dope, Red Flame... I know these aren't all included but damn gaga went in with the hip hop when making music this time around

How did you come with conclusion that Tea is hiphop?

In all the "what producers do you want Gaga to work with" threads I always said Rick Rubin. He has a magic ear, he knows what sounds and feels good. I've never heard a Rick Rubin produced record that didn't sound DOPE as FÜCK. From the Dixie Chicks to Kanye West, Rick Rubin turns it out.

Rick Rubin produced my favorite album of all time, GOSSIP's Music For Men, check it out...it's a soulful, sassy, smart, dance party start to finnish.

I'm dancing for joy. I can't wait to hear Rick's loud ass production on a Gaga song.

Um, and why is her Instagram photo giving me wood?

but Gaga says that about almost all of her songs :awkney:

^Read my edited post. I'm speculating about the song but something definitely traumatic happened to her. She's talked about it frequently and it's what landed her in the hospital as recounted in the Marry the Night video.

But with her raver/partier/club persona that she's trying to portray with this album I'm concerned.

How come? This is my favorite era so far tbh. I've never seen her this relaxed and comfortable with herself, and the music thus far seems to be reflecting this.

The fact that Rick produced parts of 21 and Paradise makes me pumped.

The ignorance in this thread.

To assume that the song will be x genre when Rick Rubin has produced pop, hip hop, rock, country, and pretty much anything else you can think of.

To assume that Gaga doesn't contribute enough for her sound to be defined by a collaborator.

I know!!! :smh:

And look out for DOPE. Track #13. The evolution of a fan song that became a deep confession in the recording studio. http://instagram.com/p/fQf49YpFMr/

'Dope' produced by: Rick Rubin and Lady Gaga
